The launch was graced by QC Representative Arjo Atayde (District 1), who participated in the gift-giving ceremony to the beneficiaries, as well as District Action Officer Ollie Belmonte, QC chief tourism officials, Ma. Victoria Auto and Vince Buenaventura.
“We’ve chosen to partner with Bahay Aruga, Inc. since last year because of their commitment to help children and their families during their hardest times. With the success of our collaboration, we aspired to carry on our joint community service through our Fishing for Joy campaign this 2024,” Del Rosario said.
He reiterated that their “Fisher for Joy” campaign is a testament of their commitment to bring the community together and participate in on-ground, meaningful activities.
“As we welcome the Christmas season today, may each of us have a lovely and enjoyable time together. I hope that we can carry the Christmas spirit beyond the event and share the warmth of kindness and the beauty of giving to people around us at home, at work, and wherever we may be,” Del Rosario said.
Other prominent guests included Liza Macuja and Don Fred Elizalde who provided a number of ballerinas from the Ballet Manila.
