DAVAO City — Nestor Balagtas of Team Davao Offroaders and Albert Pepito of Offroaders Tubod stood tall at the winner’s podium after ruling their respective classifications in the 2024 Davao City Quarry Advocates-Eneos Japan Lubricants Pamasko 4X4 Off-Road Challenge last weekend at Purok San Miguel, Barangay Indangan.
Balagtas clocked a total time of 22:48.38 after three separate off-road track rounds to win the Modified Division, leaving past closest rivals Titing Cole of Offroaders (26:02.71) and pre-race bet Timtom Gempesaw of 4Wheelers Davao (26:03.35) at second and third places, respectively.
Pepito on the other hand, had his winning ways in the Stock Category timed at 8:49.70 way past Eric James (19:33.42) and Ronald Abril (21:09.45).
Some 31 entries took part in the two-day motorsport activity in which special-designed trophies were given to the winners by race director Jem Zamora.
