Mandarin Oriental marks a comeback in Makati City

Top officials of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) and Ayala Land Incorporated (ALI) have visited the new site of the soon-to-rise Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Ayala Triangle Gardens.

The new Mandarin Oriental Hotel will be erected on the corner of Paseo De Roxas and Makati Avenue. It is expected to be finished by 2026.

The soon-to-rise Mandarin Oriental Hotel will have 276 rooms and various amenities, including restaurants and spas, ensuring its guests’ enjoyable stay and experience.

Mandarin Oriental has been one of the first skyscrapers in the city, especially during its early stages, before becoming one of the central business districts in the country.

Mariana Zobel De Ayala, the senior vice president of the conglomerate, expressed her delight in welcoming Mandarin Oriental back to Makati City, where the hotel company made a milestone.

“We’re excited to welcome Mandarin Oriental back to the Philippines, and to Makati City specifically. More than just a physical landmark, the brand was also a cultural landmark, with the hotel hosting celebrations and special events.” Zobel de Ayala said.

Meann Dy, the president and CEO of Ayala Land, shared that the hotel will help to elevate the lifestyle of the Filipinos with global trends, bridging the link between home and commerce.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group handles at least 38 prestigious hotels, 10 residences across 25 countries.
