The Philippines will host the first-ever FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup next year after the International Football Federation Congress laid out its latest schedule.

This competition will be the first time it will be held in the country.

Last October, the country competed in the Philippine Football Federation Tri-Nation Futsal Invitational 2023, finishing second place behind Indonesia after a 2-5 loss.
