Foton 2023 truck sales skyrocket

TORNADO is in demand for businesses.
Thanks to a combination of factors led by the ever-growing public awareness about Foton and its high-value, feature-packed line of dependable commercial vehicles, sales of one of the country's most robust commercial vehicle brands grew strongly in 2023 compared to 2022.
Foton's sales growth last year more than matched the total industry growth, which averaged 30 percent over the course of last year. It also brings Foton Philippines on track for achieving, or even surpassing, its sales targets for 2024.

The strong growth reflects the high demand for the company's extensive lineup of commercial vehicles, led by the Thunder pickup, the Transvan and Traveller vans, the newly launched Harabas Miler light commercial vehicle, as well as FOTON's light-duty and heavy-duty trucks.
"We are proud to be able to offer the performance, specifications, and of course, the right prices, that Filipino business owners are looking for," said Foton Philippines general manager Levy Santos.
"Entrepreneurs, fleet users, and families alike need reliable, safe yet affordable mobility and we have the right mix of value-packed light and heavy-duty trucks with the power, economy, and reliability to suit any need or budget," Santos added.
Leading the sales charge is the all-new and upsized Foton Thunder pickup, whose sales more than doubled in 2023 compared to the previous year.
Road trip-loving Filipinos also flocked to the large and spacious Traveller vans, whose sales experienced a substantial 28 percent jump in 2023 compared to 2022. Aside from private and business users, both the Traveller and Transvan are likewise widely purchased by local government units.
