Southern Police District Mobile Force Battalion DMFB has shown the epitome of integrity and honesty in their recent act of goodwill on 31 December 2023.
During their routine police visibility and mobile patrolling duty at OKADA, Manila, members of the DMFB SPD, under the guidance of Lt. Col. Werenfredo S. Regidor Jr., acting force commander under the leadership of PBGen. Mark D. Pespes, OIC, found a black wallet on the sidewalk.
Upon checking, the wallet contained a substantial amount of cash totaling P22,000 along with several identification cards belonging to Mr. Khevin A. Yu.
Exemplifying their commitment to public service and upholding the core values of the Philippine National Police, the DMFB personnel diligently searched for the owner's contact information to promptly return the wallet and its contents.
This noble act of returning the lost wallet reflects Southern Police District's unwavering dedication to the public, embodying the essence of an outstanding example, proving that the PNP still stands as a beacon of honor, honesty and reliability within the community.
