Former Activision Blizzard chief executive officer Bobby Kotick is getting more flak than ever on social media as his former employees have started to speak out on the toxic work culture he created in the workplace.

For years, Kotick has been accused of sexual harassment and poor treatment of Activision Blizzard employees, and an investigation was officially launched on Kotick.

Now that he left, employees are starting to speak out without fear of repercussions.

"I worked on CoD (Call of Duty) for two years as a programmer at Demonware. Bobby's decisions made our games worse. In my first month, it came out he threatened to have an employee killed. In the all-hands that followed, no one wanted to speak first so I demanded his firing in front of everyone," writer, developer, and programmer Christina Pollock revealed in a Tweet.

"I get that I am very loud and very annoying and that with my seniority and ease of other opportunities, that affords me certain protections and safety to do such things, but you all need to get on board this train. We all need to revolt against people like this every time."

Aside from threatening to have an employee killed, former Blizzard senior manager of community development Andy Belford revealed that Kotick called the shots at work and would execute projects as he pleased even when advised against it.
