Meralco's social development arm, One Meralco Foundation, has pledged to energize using solar power the coffee processing facility of Milalittra Farmers Agriculture Cooperative in Talakag, Bukidnon.
The project, which falls under OMF's Agriculture and Livelihood Electrification, will boost production and increase the income potential of more than 100 cooperative members coming from the Talaandig Indigenous peoples who rely on this livelihood to support their families.
Members of the Talaandig community flew all the way from Bukidnon and joined the entire Meralco community during the ceremonial turnover of the solar PV system led by Meralco and OMF chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan.

Tarayao, OMF trustee and Meralco chief operating officer Ronnie L. Aperocho and OMF trustee and Meralco chief revenue officer Ferdinand O. Geluz.
