Four new directors of the Maharlika Investment Corporation were sworn in by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Malacañang said on Wednesday.
Asian Development Bank officer Vicky Castillo Tan, along with Roman Felipe Reyes, German Lichauco, and Andrew Jerome Gan took their oath before the Chief Executive.
Tan formerly served as vice president of SteelAsia Manufacturing Inc. and chair of Maybank Inc.'s corporate governance committee.
In addition, Tan held positions as director of the division for budget and management services, senior advisor to the vice president, senior financial analyst at ADB, and director of the division for regional cooperation and operations coordination.
Reyes currently serves as a director for the following companies: Converge ICT Solutions Inc., All-Asian Countertrade, Philippine Geothermal Production Co., Pampanga Sugar Development Co. (Pasudeco), and Radio Philippines Network Inc.
In addition, he founded Reyes Tacandong & Co. and serves as its chairman. In addition to serving as vice-chairman and partner at SGV & Co., he was a supervisor for Ernst & Young New York.
Lichauco worked as a senior partner at the law offices of Ongsiako, Montecillo, and Siguion Reyna. In addition, he presided over Gemarvic Holdings Inc.
Gan served as Singapore adviser for Picfel & Cle, Banquiers and managing director of Globe Land Development Corp. In addition, Gan also served as the director of Beacon Holdings Inc. He also held the positions of treasurer and director of communications for Fil L'mour Inc. and director of Nuovo Moda Inc.
