Cebu Pacific has announced enhancements to its baggage policy.

Travelers are now allowed to check in up to three pieces of luggage and select from 20 kg, 24 kg, 28 kg or 32 kg options. Before this, travelers on CEB could only purchase a maximum of two pieces of luggage allowance in either the 20 kg or 32 kg weight range.

Customers can use their MyCebuPacific accounts to access the Manage Booking portal to add more luggage allowance or purchase pre-paid bags at the time of booking their flights.

If a customer chooses "GO Easy" or "GO Flexi," they can choose "Upgrade" for the luggage included in their package. Customers who opt for the "GO Basic" option, however, will need to lock in their flight dates and then choose the CEB baggage on the add-ons page.

"Cebu Pacific always strives to be customer-centric. We updated our baggage policy so that passengers can have greater control over their baggage allowance at lower rates than current airport charges. This could help our customers lessen their expenses and experience a faster bag drop at the airport," said Candice Iyog, CEB chief marketing and customer experience officer.

In order to manage their bookings, access their travel funds and receive trip alerts, among other benefits, CEB customers are advised to book their flights online by opening a MyCebuPacific account.

Iyog added that online check-in is also available via the Cebu Pacific app and website, reducing passenger waiting time at the airport and allowing them to go straight to their assigned boarding gates.

Currently, CEB flies to 25 international and 35 local routes throughout Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
