Policemen arrested two drug peddlers in a buy-bust operation in Pateros at dawn yesterday.
The suspects were identified as alias Nunoy, 41 years old, street-level individual user/pusher and alias Edwin, 58 years old, street-level individual/user. Both are residents of Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros.
The operation was launched at around 2:50 a.m. on 2 December according to the report received by P/B Gen. Mark D. PesPes, OIC, SPD.
Arrest was made after a police poseur buyer from Pateros Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit bought ₱200 worth of shabu from the target of the buy-bust.
Recovered from the duo were 10 plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing 15 grams valued P102,000, one digital weighing scale, cash money amounting to P300, cellular phone and the P200 buy-bust money.
Recovered pieces of evidence will be turned over to SPD Forensic unit for chemical analysis while suspects will be facing complaints for RA 9165.
