Hundreds of cyclists participated in Padyak Pasay

Hundreds of cyclists gathered on Saturday at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City to participate in the "Padyak Pasay" bike fun ride.

In celebration of National Bicycle Day which is set tomorrow, the Local Government Unit of Pasay has joined forces with SM Cares and JCI Manilena to lead the initiative promoting healthy living and advocating for clean air. The collaboration culminated in the Padyak Pasay event recorded a turnout of more than 400 cyclists.

Antonio Felix Ortiga, SM Prime Vice President for Commercial Properties Group, said that SM is pushing for sustainable development for the city of Pasay.

"Together with Pasay City LGU, we are really pushing for the Mall of Asia and Pasay City to be bike friendly, environmentally friendly, and overall, a sustainable development," Ortiga said.

SM Malls works with various cities and government agencies to promote bike-friendly communities across the country. The initiative aims to make engaging bike activities, road safety clinics, and accessible bike facilities available for Filipinos.

The fun ride lasted more than an hour, where children were also engaged in the social movement of SM and LGU Pasay.

Cyclists passed J.W. Diokno Boulevard, Atang de la Rama, Vicente Sotto St, CCP, Roxas Boulevard, and EDSA.
