IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari gave a convincing argument on the need for the Israeli military to persist without letup in its hunt for the Hamas terrorists and seek the release of the hostages soonest.
Thus, the urgency of the offensive against the Hamas terror group since time is essential after new evidence suggests the imminent danger the captives are in.
In a briefing with international media, Hagari showed video evidence that the hostages were suffering continuing atrocities, such as what happened to 19-year-old Israel Defense Force Corporal Noa Marciano who was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists during the massacre of 7 October.
Noa was taken to Gaza alive and was held in a place near the Al-Shifa Hospital.
Ongoing protests against Israel condemn the military operation as targeting hospitals to oppress Palestinians, which is farthest from the truth since it is Hamas that is using the populace as shields.
During IDF rescue operations in the vicinity of where she was being held captive, Noa's captor was killed while Noa was wounded.
Hagari cited an independent pathological report that determined Noa's injuries were not life-threatening but she ended up dead.
Intelligence that Israel gathered said Hamas terrorists took Noa into the Shifa hospital where she was slain, apparently in retaliation for their terminated cohorts.
Some of the non-Israeli hostages were brought to the main Shifa hospital in Gaza City. It was not immediately known if the two Filipino hostages were with the group brought to the hospital but Hagari said intelligence reports identified Thai and Nepalese captives.
After the 7 October assault, Hamas marauders retreated to the hospital consistent with the terror organization's strategy of using the civilian population and facilities as cover.
Hagati then shared a video showing members of Hamas taking a hostage into the hospital. Astoundingly, the gunmen and the hostage entered through the main entrance of the hospital at 10:55 a.m. on 7 October.
The search for the hostages will not stop until they are all released. The Israeli operations are in contrast to the negotiations at the highest levels that Hamas is dictating, as the terrorists use the hostages as bargaining chips.
The IDF spokesperson admitted that the military has yet to pinpoint the location of the seized individuals but findings proved that the terrorists extensively used the Shifa Hospital complex on the day of the massacre as a terrorist infrastructure.
Another video taken on 7 October between 10:42 and 11:01 a.m. showed hostages surrounded by armed Hamas terrorists.
A male hostage who was wheeled into a hospital room had lost his leg from the knee down, while another was walking.
Hadari then reminded the world that Hamas still holds the elderly, men, women, children, and babies as hostages.
He said the IDF has the moral obligation "to bring every one of the hostages home."
"We will not rest until we do. Hamas was hiding and murdering our hostages in Shifa Hospital. Hamas was building terror tunnels under Shifa Hospital," he added.
"By now the truth is clear: Hamas wages war from hospitals, wages terror from hospitals," Hagari pointed out.
Thus, everyone who cares about the future of humanity must condemn Hamas, he added.
Also needing to be stopped is the poisoning of minds that the terrorist group and its backers are adept at.
Consider the lie that many are taking as truth — that Israel was responsible for the 7 October massacre and not Hamas.
