SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is set to meet with US Vice President Kamala Harris and other high-ranking officials today (Thursday, Philippine Time) on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in San Francisco, California.
Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez confirmed the meetings with the Philippine media delegation here on Wednesday (US Time).
When asked who else Marcos will meet besides VP Harris, Romualdez said Marcos will meet Peruvian President Dina Boluarte and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the sidelines of the 2023 APEC Summit.
However, the itinerary did not include a meeting with the American counterpart, Joe Biden.
