President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appointed three more high-ranking officials under his administration, the Presidential Communications Office said on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, PCO said Marcos named MMDA executive director Angelito Vergel De Dios as Commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) under the Department of Justice.

The PCGG is a quasi-judicial government organization whose main responsibility is to retrieve the ill-gotten wealth that the late former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. is said to have accumulated.

Meanwhile, PCO said Marcos designated Bryan Lim as the Special Envoy of the President to the Republic of Korea for Trade and Investments.

A report from the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ) showed that Lim allegedly gave P20 million in cash donations to Marcos' 2022 presidential campaign.

According to the report, Lim is the vice president of business development of Suyen Corp., the firm that owns the Bench clothing line.

Suyen Corp. is also involved in real estate, furnishings, and food. It entered into a memorandum of understanding in 2019 to sublet a portion of Global Gateway Development Corp.'s property in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. Global Gateway Development Corp. is a subsidiary of Dennis Uy's Udenna Group.

Meanwhile, PCO added that Marcos appointed Julius Neri Jr. to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Board of Directors as General Manager and CEO.

Former President Rodrigo Duterte previously appointed Neri Jr., a former president of SunStar Publishing Inc., as general manager of MCIAA in July 2021, taking Steve Dicdican's place.

Since December 2016, he has represented the private sector as a member of the MCIAA board.
