Hatred, fear weaponized
Hamas has been cornered, and a breather would allow the terrorists to regroup and cause more barbarity.

Before we start celebrating and patting ourselves on the back, what, in fact, is the reality on the ground?

An unfathomable hatred that only the terrorist group Hamas is capable of inspired the 7 October attack on Israel that resulted in the death of 1,400 individuals of several nationalities and the capture of 240 hostages.
The carnage sparked the now raging war in Gaza that Israel vows will not stop until the terror organization is dismantled and the hostages, who are believed to include two Filipinos, are freed.
The face of the atrocity that Israel has endured has been that of Shani Louk, a 22-year-old Israeli-German, who was seen in a video unconscious and half naked on the back of a terrorist truck.
She was paraded around Gaza and later killed by the monsters who took human form. She was believed to have been beheaded.
Her abduction video, among others, steeled the determination of Israel and its forces to end the horrors of the pogromists whose covenant was to eradicate Israel and to kill all Jews.
Louk attended the Supernova music festival near Re'im on 7 October when Hamas terrorists stormed the gathering, which aimed to celebrate life, killing at least 260 people and kidnapping many others.
After the pillage, a video circled the globe depicting an unconscious Louk lying in the back of a truck as Hamas terrorists paraded her around.
According to reports, her family clung for weeks to the hope that she was alive, and information circulated that she was being treated in a hospital in Gaza.
On 30 October, however, her family was informed that Louk's death had been confirmed based on the identification of a piece of her skull.
Among the problems of Israeli authorities after the mass murder was identifying the victims as they had to agonizingly sift through fragments of bones, or worse, clumps of ashes since many victims were burned to death.
Some bleeding hearts and supposed champions of peace have glossed over the cruelty of Hamas in calling for a pause on the Israeli offensive.
Hamas has been cornered, and a breather would allow the terrorists to regroup and cause more barbarity.
The savagery of Hamas was most glaring in its attempt to deny family members of their victims to learn the fate of their lost relatives.
Louk was likely killed before or shortly after she was brought into Gaza. Some reports stated that the young lady was decapitated, while others indicated that she was shot in the head.
Louk's family, however, can't hold a funeral as most of her remains are still being held by Hamas.
Her father, Nissim Louk, found consolation in the happy moments before Shani was brutalized. "We know she is dead, we know she didn't suffer, we also know a minute before the murderers came she was dancing, she was happy, she prayed, she went wild, with all her friends around her, and she had fun," he said.
Most tragic of all is that gullible global leaders are blaming Israel for the deaths that have piled up while turning a blind eye to the root of the problem.
For instance, resolutions at the United Nations seeking a pause in the hostilities failed to mention the name of Hamas as the perpetrator of the atrocities that sparked the war with Israel.
Israeli air strikes were intended to go after the terrorists who were hiding in tunnels along with their hostages. Thus, the goal is to destroy all the infrastructure that Hamas uses to spread its web of terror.
Thereafter, the objective of releasing the hostages becomes possible. Showing weakness to the terror group or an opening, through a pause in hostilities, will only indicate not only to Hamas but to all terror organizations that they can succeed by using fear as a weapon.
