Three Bureau of Fire Protection firefighters suffered minor injuries while trying to fight a fire that occurred on All Saints' Day, 1 November, in Sampaloc, Manila.

Manila Police District-Police Station 4 said the fire started at the second floor of a residential house owned by Jenny Vinter y Gallento, 42 of 1642 Sisa Street, near corner Calamba Street, Barangay 495, Zone 49, Sampaloc.

It was learned that the incident occurred at 12:39 p.m. when neighbors noticed a thick smoke coming out from the earlier-mentioned residential house. 

Fire fighters declared fire out at 2:21 p.m.

The three injured members of the BFP were treated for minor injuries.

As of press time, arson investigators are still investigating the cost of damages to properties.
