A good thing truly does never die, as Tory Burch — the New York brand founded in 2004 — gives a fresh spin to its signature pattern in modern pieces that "It girls" are carrying.
In a glass-walled pop-up unveiled recently at Greenbelt 5, Tory Burch will showcase until end October its latest must-haves.
From the T Monogram collection comes a small bucket bag in black jacquard, the star of the show. The T Monogram black is "woven in chic tonal jacquard accented with gold hardware and available for the first time in the Philippines at the pop-up," says brand representatives at the launch.
The bag, along with other bags, shoes and accessories, sits atop one of the puffy stands depicted in an installation inspired by the work of artist René Magritte, described as "inflated T Monogram sculptures set against a backdrop of blue sky and soft clouds."
The logo Tory created for her brand back in the noughties is made up of "a classic serif T and its mirror image encased in a circle, inspired by the geometry of Moroccan architecture and interiors by David Hicks."
Seen at the launch were Coleen Garcia Crawford, who wore the T Monogram Viscose Cardigan, T Monogram Tech Knit Dress, T Monogram Black Bucket Bag and Cap-Toe Pump 45 Mm; Nicole Andersson, who wore the Viscose Shirtdress, T Monogram Black Chain Wallet and Capri Mid Heel Stud Sandal 45 Mm; Mikaela Martinez, who was clad in the Tech Knit Polo Dress, T Monogram Black Petite Barrel Bag and Eleanor Heel Sandal 55 Mm; and Noelle Martinez, who wore the Cotton Pointelle Polo, Performance Jersey Tennis Skirt, T Monogram Black Mini N/S Tote and Ladybug Sneaker.
