Boxing's only eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao meets Thai kickboxing superstar Buakaw Banchamek in an exhibition bout early next year in Bangkok.
This will be the first time Pacquiao will climb the ring since facing Korean mix-martial arts practitioner DK Yoo last year in Seoul.
Last time he fought in the pros, Pacquiao lost to Yordenis Ugas of Cuba in August 2021 in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao, older by three years at 44, attended the media launch in the Thai capital joined by his inner circle, including American boxing
man Sean Gibbons.
Full details of the event are still being finalized by Thai organizers, who brought to Bangkok English football squads Manchester United
and Liverpool last year.
Banchamek, who logged close to 300 kickboxing bouts, has fought all over the world.
