What an honor it is to be invited by none other than the Ambassador of the State of Israel, H.E. Ilan Fluss and Madame Gila Fluss, to their grand gathering at the Manila Hotel.

I expected nothing less than a high-profile and distinguished guest list. No wonder the security was so tight. Even my photographer couldn't come inside! But better safe than sorry!

The highlight of the evening was Ambassador Ilan Fluss taking the floor to inspire, thank and talk about the long-standing friendship between our countries that started way back during the late President Manuel Quezon's time. That deserves a toast.

We ended on a high note with the Israeli all-female band, Rhythmania, whose moves and music were electric. Indeed, theirs was an unforgettable performance. Great way to cap off the celebration of a great country, friend and ally. Cheers to Israel!
