Reporter to the stars, Ogie Diaz, ended speculations and confirmed the separation of couple Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.

According to Diaz, this is a result of Soberano's choice of pursuing a career in Hollywood.

Even though Gil was determined to save and continue their relationship, Soberano really wanted out.

As a former manager of the controversial Hollywood aspirant Soberano, Diaz still hopes well wishes for them and if possible, reconciliation.

"Sana kung meron mang hindi pagkakaunawaan, ma-patch up nila. Sayang, ilang taon din sila, 8 years. Sayang!", Diaz said.

He also added, "Nakakalungkot ito dahil ako 'yung tipong tingin ko sa kanila nu'ng ako pa ang manager ni Liza, ang ganda ng relasyon nila."

As of this writing, Soberano and Gil are yet to speak up about the matter.
