Helping build and sustain communities remains one of our important advocacies at Ford. Christmas is a season of giving and a good opportunity to share blessings most especially to young children who always look forward to this time of the year.

Ford Philippines recently spread holiday cheers with underprivileged communities, holding a special Christmas party in partnership with Gawad Kalinga.
Ford partnered with Gawad Kalinga Foundation to hold an in-person Christmas activity that was attended by 150 kids from various GK communities in Mandaluyong, as well as from GK Ave Maria in Rizal and El Dorado in Paranaque.
Employee volunteers from Ford and members of the automotive media joined the Pista sa Nayon-themed party and played the role of "big brother" and "big sister", joining the children in a series of traditional Pinoy fiesta games such as pabitin, hampas palayok, "Calamansi" relay and Trip to Jerusalem. The kids also serenaded the audience with Christmas songs and carols.
Aside from winning prizes, the children also took home Christmas grocery packages for their families in time for Noche Buena. Ford Philippines managing director Mike Breen and government and corporate affairs director Josie Gonzalez attended the special occasion.
"Helping build and sustain communities remains one of our important advocacies at Ford. Christmas is a season of giving and a good opportunity to share blessings most especially to young children who always look forward to this time of the year," Gonzalez shares.
"We're very happy to have returned to in-person celebrations as seeing the smiles from the kids and their families further inspires us to help more and to give more."
Meanwhile, for their part, Gawad Kalinga chairman, Jose Luis Oquinena shares, "We thank Ford Philippines for consistently being part of meaningful initiatives and programs such as our annual Christmas outreach. We look forward to reaching out to more families and communities in the years to come with Ford as a reliable and valued partner."
