Filipino-owned brand Doggo brought pet owners and their furry pets even closer through the Doggo "Pawty" held at Bonifacio Global City recently.
The booths available at the celebration offered various dog services such as free veterinary check-ups, free insurance, and free unlimited snaps at the photobooth. Merchandise was also up for grabs from participating brands Amazon Pumps and Purreetty.
The canine companions showcased their talents at the Trick and Treat booth and run during the Doggo Marathon. The track was designed to be unbarricaded to encourage a deeper connection between dogs and owners. A Shih Tzu named Panpan won the race against 200 other dogs with a record of less than three seconds, bagging the P10,000 prize money.
An adoption drive was also held in partnership with PAWSsion Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabiliation of dogs. The brand played matchmaker to 15 stray dogs so they could find their forever home.

"We did not want to make an event just for the sake of throwing one. It was important for us to launch it as a way of communicating and promoting better treatment for dogs — to consider them as a part of the family and not just as house guards or displays," Doggo CEO Kurt Cheng said in a statement.
After the successful event, Cheng hopes to host another Doggo Pawty with aspirations of bringing fur families closer together and paving the way for more accessibility to top-class dog care, services, and products.
