Alesso in Manila on 17 December

Swedish DJ and music producer Alesso is set to perform in Manila on 17 December at the SMDC Festival Grounds.

The show, produced by Ovation Productions, features Acraze with supporting acts Ace Ramos, Martin Pulgar, Marc Marasigan, Rico Arce, KATDJ, Deuce, Katsy Lee, and David Ardiente.

Alesso, born Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, has worked with the industry's biggest names such as Tove Lo, Hailee Steinfeld, Calvin Harris, Katy Perry, Usher, David Guetta, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Liam Payne.

"Calling (Losing My Mind)," his 2012 single with the Swedish House Mafia's Sebastian Ingrosso and Grammy award-winning OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, was certified two-times Platinum in Sweden. It also reached number one on Billboard's US Hot Dance Club Songs.

Alesso's other hits that landed on the top spot are "When I'm Gone," "Only You," "If I Lose Myself," "Under Control," "In The Middle," "Let Me Go," and "Is That For Me." "Heroes (We Could Be)" with Tove Lo was certified platinum in the U.S.

He was also the opening act of Madonna's MDNA Tour in 2012.
