G-Shock continues to evolve as a brand in pursuit of durability and design.
The line of watches, manufactured by Japanese electronics company Casio, has developed new G-Shock and Baby-G pieces that cater to those with an active lifestyle that don't want to compromise style.
"They do not want to fade in the background; they want to express themselves and in doing so, they make great impressions. In other words, they stand out," Sena Kuroda, sales manager for Timepiece of Casio, said.
Time Distortion, the first collection, has a band and dial printed in patterns that playfully distort time and space. The Baby-G and X-Girl are street-style brands for girls born at the height of street fashion in 1994.
Meanwhile, Street Spirit takes the G-Shock form as its canvas. Its bezel and band are embedded with street-savvy designs that boast of original graffiti art.
The Street Spirit Collection is available in store, while the Time Distortion Collection and the Baby-G x X-girl Collaboration model will be available mid-December.
G-Shock recently opened its store at Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
