National University rookie Kean Baclaan has been slapped with a one-game ban by the University Athletic Association of the Philippines after incurring two technical fouls during the Bulldogs last match in Season 85 men's basketball tournament.
The fiery freshman will serve his suspension Saturday when NU faces Adamson University at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Baclaan was whistled with two technical fouls for "faking a foul" in the Bulldogs' 58-63 defeat at the hands of De La Salle University last Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
His first technical foul occurred with 5:31 left in the second quarter followed by another one with 8:43 remaining in the third quarter which resulted in his ejection.
Meanwhile, two women's basketball players were also handed a one-game suspension to be served Saturday.
De La Salle University's Fina Niantcho Tchuido committed a flagrant unsportsmanlike foul during the Lady Archers' 61-57 overtime win over erstwhile unbeaten National University at the UST Quadricentennial Pavillion last Wednesday.
