Pasay City policemen have arrested the man who allegedly robbed a legal staff member of Sen. Robin Padilla last August.
City police chief P/Col. Byron Tabernila identified the arrested person as Kenneth Guzman Casas after he was tagged in the snatching incident that victimized Atty. Asmenah Barambangan on Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City.
Casas was arrested by operatives of the station investigation and detective management section of the Pasay City police on the strength of a warrant issued by Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 52 Judge Barry Ariola.
Prior to the service of the warrant, Pasay City policemen tried to arrest a man whom a concerned citizen said was prowling for victims along Macapagal Boulevard.
Tabernilla said the cops missed seeing the man, said to be Casas, in the area.
Casas' family and live-in partner helped in making his arrest peaceful, according to the police.
