‘The Birth of Athena’ 2022, mixed media by Toym Imo. | PHOTOGRAPH COURTESY OF FUNDACION Sansó
Past Expressing and Pamana sa Panahon ng Pagbabago, simultaneous exhibitions commissioned by Fundacion Sansó, aim to raise funds for the art students of Bulacan State University.
Past Expressing is inspired from the 1960 ink painting of a skull wreathed with flowers by Sansó. Pamana sa Panahon ng Pagbabago, meanwhile, highlights pieces by the art museum's current scholars.
Works from both exhibitions will be available for purchase through Art Lounge Manila.
Fundacion Sansó's scholarship program, which was formalized in 2019, has had 22 scholars in its roster of beneficiaries.
Past Expressing and Pamana sa Panahon ng Pagbabago run from 22 October to 12 November. Fundacion Sanso is open Mondays to Saturdays, except holidays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is at 32 V.Cruz St., Brgy Sta. Lucia, San Juan City, Metro Manila. Admission is free.
