Homage to Mexico's Dia de Muertos
Patrón Tequila takes part in the celebration of Día de Muertos, a festival that originated in Mexico, but is celebrated worldwide.
The celebration is centered on the belief that the veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is lifted and families can gather to welcome back the souls of their ancestors, but through a joyful occasion accompanied by food, drinks and symbols to welcome them back to the world of the living.
Founded in Mexico in 1989, Patrón Tequila pays homage to this festival by continuously participating and celebrating Día de Muertos all over the world including the Philippines.

Turning on the pink lights of a resto-bar
After the pandemic dimmed the lights of the neon pink "NOKAL" sign along Kalayaan, NoKal, bar and diner, was relaunched at a new location in Makati Cinema Square's Basement 1.
Along with its partners Marco Viray, Lee Watson, Raul Fores and Jason Soong, their patrons known as "Lokals of NoKal" can now go back to their favorite hangout place but this time with a new list of food and drink to look forward to.
NoKal officially opened to the public on 26 October. The club will be open weekly from Wednesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. For venue rentals, table reservations, and guest list bookings, contact: +639171395178.
Pop-up bar
After a successful four-month run on Bonifacio High Street, Chivas Regal will pop up once again at Uptown Parade.
Launching on 28 October, the Chivas Regal pop-up opening features a line-up of DJs, live shirt printing, cocktail making, and freshly kegged highballs on tap. The bar, located downstairs, offers a specially curated list of refreshing whisky cocktails whilst the upstairs area houses a selfie-ready lounge area complete with its very own throne.
