Kristoffer Arevalo steps up his preparation for the Nomura Cup next month when he leads a small contingent in the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship at the Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand Thursday.
Arevalo, who topped the recent Nomura Cup qualifying at Manila Southwoods, will be joined by Aidric Chan, Carl Corpus and Gab Manotoc.
Arevalo will tee off on the first hole with Chinese-Taipei's Chi Chun Chen and United Arab Emirates' Rashid Al Emadi at 7:14 a.m.
Chan, on the other hand, also starts at the front at 12:34 p.m. alongside Ryan Ang of Singapore and Mousa Shana'ah of Jordan.
Corpus will play with Chinese-Taipei's Ko-Yen Chang Chien and Taimur Malik of Pakistan in the back nine at 8:10 a.m.
Manotoc, who is set to turn pro, will begin on the 10th hole in the company of Singapore's Brandon Han and Ivan Sablan of Guam at 11:39 a.m.
