DOTA 2 powerhouse T1 failed in its mission to qualify for The International 11 following a sorry performance in The Last Chance Qualifiers in Singapore recently.
With two-time TI champions Anathan "Ana" Pham and Topias "Topson" Taavitsaine playing more than 300 games in preparation for the tourney, T1 displayed tremendous improvement in the early stages of the qualifiers to book a slot in the upper bracket of the Playoffs.
The squad had a strong start in the upper bracket as it defeated former champion Natus Vincere, 2-1. Unfortunately for T1, it took a massive blow when it bowed to Team Secret, 0-2, in the upper bracket semifinals.
The loss kicked T1 to the lower bracket where they clashed with Vici Gaming in the quarterfinals.
After winning the opening game, Vici Gaming pulled off a reverse sweep to win, 2-1, forcing T1 to kiss its chances in the TI 11 goodbye.
