Joining forces anew, Security Bank and ArteFino gave the 2022 ArteFino Festival, which ends today, another boost through its Makers Lab Upcycling Design Challenge. For this, participants upcycled old fabrics and turn "trash" into unique objects with "extraordinary" designs.
The partnership started in 2017. Through the upcycling activity, both support the call for sustainability, as embodied in this year's theme of Renew, Repurpose, and Regenerate.
"The partnership between ArteFino and Security Bank is very special as it celebrates the best of Filipino culture and craftsmanship. This year's theme, 'Renew, Repurpose, and Regenerate,' further aligns with the Bank's focus on promoting sustainability, anchored on its mission to enrich lives, empower businesses, and build communities," says Tanya Deakin, vice president and head of corporate communications and brand at Security Bank.

Apart from the upcycling challenge, Security Bank is a staunch supporter of the ArteFino Festival, an artisanal trade fair that is currently being held at the Powerplant Mall in Rockwell Center, Makati City.
This year, the ArteFino Festival hosted over 150 brands showcased in a span of five weeks. Each week featured a new set of brands across various categories, a special men's section called Barracks has also been set up for men to lounge, shop, and dine on local artisanal brews.
