The month of July marked a beautiful milestone for the Montemayor family.
Carlos and Irene Bigornia Montemayor celebrated the 18th birthday of their gorgeous and talented eldest daughter, Sophia.
Held at Shangri-La The Fort, the party's Met Gala theme projected an air of enchantment and elegance.
A fabulously decorated entrance welcomed guests.
Dinner consisted of a six-course menu with an open bar.
The presentation of 18 roses had a twist. I was one of Sofia's 18 treasures, and we did a fashion show for her.
Robert Blancaflor dressed up the venue with an opulent design. The Heat Band played live music, with DJ Kat spinning records in between.
The debutante looked stunning in a Michael Cinco dress, as well as a Val Taguba creation. MET Gala elegance indeed!
Sophia sang a heartfelt version of "Think of Me" from The Phantom of the Opera.
She gave guests a magazine that documented her coming-of-age celebration.
Turning 18 is a wonderful time for a woman. It marks the beginning of a new chapter in Sophia's life journey.
