A man who is allegedly involved in illegal drugs fell behind bars after a buy-bust in Caloocan City, Friday morning.
The suspect, identified as Jenny Roy Dayrit, 24, a resident of Hermosa St., Tondo, Manila, is now in the custody of the Caloocan City Police.
Around 6:00 am, when the personnel of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Caloocan City Police conducted a buy-bust operation on the second floor, unit 2-G, Bldg. 361, Brgy. 18.
An undercover police officer was able to make a transaction with the suspect and buy a kilo of marijuana, and when the suspect handed over the purchased illegal drugs, he was immediately arrested.
Recovered from Dayrit were 52 pieces of transparent plastic wrapped bricks containing 52,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves with a standard drug price of P6,240,000, and boodle money.
The suspect will be charged with violation of Sec. 5 and Sec. 11, Art II of RA 9165 Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
