Elements of the Southern Police District-Drug Enforcement Unit arrested an online seller and his cohort in a buy-bust operation yesterday and confiscated from them P408,000 worth of shabu in Las Piñas City.

Col. Kirby John Brion Kraft, SPD Director, identified the suspects as Jerome Carillas, 28, an online seller and Ronie Regonios, 40.

He said the suspects were arrested around 5 a.m. along Canaynay Road, Barangay Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas.

Records showed the suspects are high value individuals and were placed under surveillance prior to their arrest.

The members of the SPD-DEU confiscated from the suspects 11 plastic sachets containing shabu weighing about 60 grams and worth P408,000, and P500 buy-bust money.

Kraft said the suspects are now detained at the SPD-DEU custodial facility and will be charged with possession of illegal drugs.
