Alex Eala starts her Hong Kong Tennis Open campaign as she takes on world No. 65 Alycia Parks of the United States in the Round of 32 of the Hing Kong Tennis Open on 2 November at the Victoria Park Tennis Stadium.

It will be the third time both netters will face off with the No. 19 Eala entering as the second seed in this prestigious Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) 250 tournament.

Parks prevailed over the 21-year-old Eala, 0-6, 6-3, 6-2, in the first round of the Australian Open last January.

Last August, Eala exacted revenge over Parks, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2, in the Round of 64 of the Canadian Open.

Should Eala win, she will face the winner between world No. 87 Tereza Valentova of the Czech Republic or world No. 405 Sun Xinran of China.
