Globe Telecom Inc. has been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) after receiving the Five Golden Arrows distinction for the fifth consecutive year, marking a milestone in the company’s corporate governance record.

The recognition is awarded to publicly listed companies that meet the highest standards under the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), which assesses shareholder rights, transparency, board accountability, sustainability and corporate resilience.

Sustaining high governance standards

Five Golden Arrows is reserved for companies that score at least 115 points under the assessment. Globe’s continued recognition reflects its ability to sustain high governance standards under an updated framework aligned with the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance, which place greater emphasis on sustainability disclosures, digital governance and environmental, social and governance integration.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized for our commitment to corporate governance and its principles and best practices. And to be recognized consistently for it for 5 consecutive years is such a profound privilege. It is a testament to our relentless determination to embed a governance culture in the organization alongside our business,” said Marisalve Ciocson-Co, Globe’s chief compliance officer and senior vice president for legal and compliance.

Commitment to responsible business operations

Globe president and CEO Carl Cruz said the company’s governance practices are rooted in its broader commitment to responsible business operations and customer service.
