‘Arangkada’ Forum recognizes Canadian, Japanese business leaders

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) joined regional business leaders and policymakers at the 15th Arangkada Philippines Forum to advocate for economic reforms, investment growth, and trade competitiveness across the country.
During the forum, former CanCham president and current governor Julian Payne received the Arangkada Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his role as a co-founder of the Arangkada initiative and his work expanding economic ties along the Canada-Philippines trade corridor.
"We celebrate this milestone and reaffirm our commitment to advancing sustainable growth and collaboration across ASEAN," CanCham said in a statement.
The forum also presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to Nobuo Fujii, vice president of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines, acknowledging his contributions to Japanese-Philippine commercial relations.
The Arangkada Philippines Forum, launched by the Joint Foreign Chambers of the Philippines, serves as an annual platform bringing together domestic and international business groups to track economic progress and propose policy reforms.
