Liza praises artisans

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos on Sunday checked out the HABI exhibit at One Ayala in Makati City, purchasing locally made products and commending Filipino artisans for their creativity and craftsmanship.
In a social media post, the First Lady said that what was supposed to be a quick visit to the exhibit turned into a shopping trip after she saw the woven products and handmade items on display.
“I promised myself I’d just take a quick look at the HABI exhibit today. Well, that didn’t quite go according to plan!” she said.
Mrs. Marcos said she was drawn to the variety of woven products and handmade treasures that were the work of Filipino artisans.
“Between the beautiful weaves, handmade treasures, and incredibly talented Filipino artisans, I simply couldn’t resist!” she added.
The First Lady joked about spending money on her purchases but said the experience deepened her appreciation for Filipino creativity.
“Went home a little poorer, but definitely richer in appreciation of Filipino creativity!” she said.
She was also happy with her purchases, saying, “And yes, every purchase was worth it!”
The HABI exhibit features woven products and handmade items that showcase Filipino craftsmanship.
