Gehlee comes home

After years of building her career in South Korea, Gehlee Dangca is returning to the Philippines with plans to take on a new role in the local entertainment scene.

Gehlee became known to a global audience through SBS’ survival program Universe Ticket, which brought together aspiring performers from different countries in the hopes of forming a new K-pop girl group.

Her path to the competition began when SBS reached out to Universal Records Philippines in search of Filipino talents. Gehlee eventually made it onto the show and became one of its most popular contestants, receiving the highest number of votes during the competition.

She later secured one of the eight spots in the group that would become UNIS.

Gehlee made her official debut with UNIS in March 2024 and spent roughly two and a half years based in South Korea. During that period, she gained experience performing on the K-pop stage and connecting with fans from different parts of the world.

She will remain under Universal Records Philippines for her music activities. Her Philippine management will be handled by GLXY Talent Management, the talent management arm of Universal Records, together with Star Horizon TV Production.
