  • Megaworld Global Hotels & Resorts (MGHR) will promote local travel and offer discounted hotel stays as it joins the Philippine Travel Mart 2026 from 4 to 6 September at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The hotel group will highlight its TARA! (Travel Away and Reignite Adventure) campaign, which offers room rates starting at P3,800 at participating properties nationwide.

    Exploring more domestic destinations

This year’s Philippine Travel Mart carries the theme “Nurturing Nextgen Tourism: Discover the Philippines,” with a focus on encouraging Filipinos, particularly younger travelers, to explore more domestic destinations.

Bringing destinations and offers closer to “Philippine Travel Mart gives us an opportunity to bring our destinations and offers closer to Filipino travelers, particularly the next generation who are eager to explore and experience more of the country,” said Loleth So, MGHR vice president for commercial.

“With TARA! and our other exciting sales offers, we are making it easier for guests to plan their next getaway with greater value and flexibility,” she said.

TARA! rates start at P3,800 for room-only stays at Belmont Hotel Manila, Savoy Hotel Manila, Grand Westside Hotel, Kingsford Hotel Manila, Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, Belmont Hotel Iloilo and Mercure Mactan Cebu.

Rates starting at P3,800, including breakfast, are available at Hotel Lucky Chinatown, Chancellor Hotel Boracay, Belmont Hotel Boracay, Savoy Hotel Boracay, Richmonde Hotel Ortigas, and Savoy Hotel Mactan. Eastwood Richmonde Hotel and Twin Lakes Hotel have rates starting at P5,800.

The promotional period runs until 29 November 2026, with stays valid through 30 November. Bookings can be made through participating hotel websites using promo code TARAMHR or directly with the hotels.

MGHR will also offer discounted room vouchers with savings of up to 70 percent.

Beyond the promotions, the group said it is focusing on areas that are increasingly important to travelers, including Muslim-friendly hospitality, sustainability, digital services and health and wellness.
