Parading a 2-0 win-loss record, as the only unbeaten team in the short season-opening tournament, the Jaja Santiago-Minowa-reinforced 11-time champion club is crushing the competition with its firepower.

After a four-set win over Nxled last Monday, the Cool Smashers swept Vietnamese guest team Ho Chi Minh City, 25-18, 26-16, 25-16, with the 6-foot-5 Minowa averaging 15.5 points per outing.

“Jaja is new to our team, but she has adjusted quickly. Hopefully, we’ll improve more and the quick break will help us get refreshed for our game on Thursday,” Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses said.

On the other hand, the Foxies are looking to bounce back from getting swept by Thai team Est Cola, 21-25, 16-25, 22-25, last Tuesday.

Reigning Season Most Valuable Player Trisha Tubu will need more support from her Farm Fresh teammates after being the only Foxies player in double-digit scoring in the previous outing.

Farm Fresh holds a 1-1 slate tied with Est Cola, defending champion PLDT and Nxled. The Vietnamese are winless in two starts.

Meanwhile, the High Speed Hitters seek to rebound from a shocking loss to the Chameleons when they battle Ho Chi Minh City at 4 p.m.

PLDT suffered a 19-25, 22-25, 20-25, defeat at the hands of Nxled.

Closing the triple-header playdate is the collision of the Chameleons and Est Cola at 6:30 p.m.
