The young people must then figure out how to run their community. The audience also gets to participate through votes, choices and negotiations that help shape what happens in the story.
The play explores questions about who gets heard, who gets left behind, and what communities choose to prioritize.
Gen G: GG na ’to! is directed by Ian Segarra, with J-mee Katanyag and Jhudiel Sosa as playwrights. Kabaitan Bautista serves as musical director, while Julio Garcia is the set and props designer and Johnnie Moran is the costume designer.
The cast includes Lyle Viray, Johnrick Noynay, James Lanante, Camille Fabian, Francheska Andaya, Cb Lagapa Ada Tayao and Zoe Damag.
Aside from the performances, Project GG will include interactive experiences, workshops, community conversations and other activities focused on critical thinking, collaboration and collective decision-making.
From September to November 2026, the campaign will also hold initiatives on Global Citizenship Education, narrative change, and youth participation with various partner organizations.
