    • Medical Scholarship Program

Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. (BCFI) and implementing partner Pilipinas Shell Foundation Inc. (PSFI) have announced the graduation of 100 caregivers under their Medical Scholarship Program–Technical Vocational Course.

Ninety-nine of the graduates earned their Caregiving NC II certification from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, PSFI said.

BCFI and Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. provided funding to the scholarship program with PSFI doing the technical training, mentoring, leadership formation and career preparation of scholars through its partners, CAP Training and Assessment Center Inc. and Asia-Pacific Caregiver & Healthcare Training & Assessment Center.

The graduation of the caregivers, held at The Bellevue Manila, marks the beginning of their journey as healthcare professionals committed to serving others with competence, compassion and integrity, BCFI said.

Speaking on behalf of BCFI and Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, Solaire Resort North vice president for resort operations Neil Reyes described the scholarship as an investment in education and empowerment.

“Growth becomes more meaningful when it is shared. When individuals are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, they become catalysts for positive change in their families and communities,” Reyes said during the ceremony.

PSFI executive director Sebastian C. Quiniones Jr. told the graduates the importance of their role in uplifting their lives and others’.

“The greatest success is not measured by how far you go, but by how many lives become better because you chose to serve,” he said.
