GAC Philippines has opened reservations for the all-new GN6, a seven-seat gasoline MPV aimed at families that need more room without moving into the higher price range of larger models.

The GN6 GX carries a suggested retail price of P1.298 million. An introductory price of P1.198 million applies to reservations made until 30 September 2026. Buyers may choose between Pearl White and Classic Black, while both exterior colors come with an all-black cabin and ceiling.

The new model serves as the entry point to GAC’s expanded MPV range. It sits below the E8 HEV and the GN8 PHEV Executive, which cater to buyers looking for electrified powertrains and more premium cabins.

The GN6 measures 4,792 mm long and has a 2,810 mm wheelbase. Its three-row layout provides seats for seven passengers, with separate captain’s chairs in the second row.

Each captain’s chair has its own armrests, while the cabin layout provides easier access for children, older passengers and people with limited mobility.

Cargo space starts at 324 liters when all three rows are in use. The third-row seats can be folded completely into the luggage floor, which creates a flat loading area and raises capacity to 1,100 liters.

This gives owners more room for suitcases, groceries or larger items without the need to remove the seats.

A 14.6-inch touchscreen occupies the center of the dashboard, while a 10.25-inch digital instrument display provides driving information. The GN6 also comes with dual-zone automatic climate control and a PM1 cabin air filter. A power sunroof adds more light to the passenger area.

GAC equipped the GN6 with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 176.7 horsepower and 270 Newton-meters of torque. The engine works with a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.

Its published combined fuel consumption under the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle is 7.22 liters per 100 kilometers. Actual consumption will depend on traffic, vehicle load and driving habits.

The GX variant also receives a Level 2 advanced driver assistance package. Adaptive cruise control works alongside traffic jam assist and integrated cruise assist. Automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning help alert the driver to possible hazards ahead.

Lane keeping assist and lane departure warning monitor the vehicle’s position on the road. A high-definition 360-degree camera provides a wider view during parking and tight maneuvers.

These systems support the driver, although the person behind the wheel still has full responsibility for controlling the vehicle.

GAC Philippines backs the GN6 with a five-year or 150,000-kilometer vehicle warranty, whichever comes first. Owners also receive two years of free roadside assistance.

The company currently has 30 dealerships nationwide and operates a local parts warehouse. GAC said the warehouse helps maintain the supply of genuine components and shorten service waiting times.

With its introductory price, captain’s chairs and fold-flat third row, the GN6 gives GAC a more affordable model in the family MPV segment.

Its gasoline engine also lets owners refuel at any regular station, which may appeal to households that are not yet ready to move to a hybrid or plug-in vehicle.
