The US Food and Drug Administration has upgraded a recall of nearly 13,000 Whole Foods dips, salsas and guacamole products to Class I, its highest risk classification, over possible Salmonella contamination. The recall involves products made with jalapeños linked to a multistate outbreak that has sickened more than 400 people.
