Truth-telling session on drug war

The Truth Commission conducts its 2nd Public Truth Telling at the Pope Pius XII Catholic Center in Manila on 27 August 2026. The Commission hears Mariza Hamoy recount the death of her son, Darwin Hamoy, including her search for his body, the family’s struggles to bury him and her efforts to pursue complaints against police officers. She also recounts the threats and pressure she experienced as she continued to seek justice.
