To recall, Glovax, In 2023, held a groundbreaking of its P7.5 billion vaccine facility in Taysan, Batangas.
State-owned National Development Co. is part of the memorandum of understanding with Glovax for the vaccine manufacturing project.
R&D
Apart from the manufacturing line, the facility will also have research and development as well as animal testing for clinical trials.
Glovax’s vaccine plant in Batangas will have an annual capacity of 50 million doses.
The company has been a distributor of vaccines against polio, tuberculosis, measles, tetanus, and rabies as well as pentavalent vaccines in the country since 2003.
