Stevie Awards honor Cebuana Lhuillier for innovation


Cebuana Lhuillier earned multiple honors at the International Business Awards, known as the Stevies, recognizing the company's efforts in financial inclusion, corporate social responsibility and marketing communications.
President and chief executive officer Jean Henri Lhuillier received three individual distinctions, led by a Gold Stevie for Most Innovative Content Creator of the Year for "Money Guro," a social media project focused on accessible financial literacy.
Lhuillier also collected a Silver Stevie for Social Impact Leader of the Year and a Bronze Stevie for Maverick of the Year for driving organizational transformation.
"These awards are a strong affirmation of our mission to innovate with purpose and to help Filipinos build greater confidence at every stage of their financial journey," Lhuillier said, adding that the international recognition reflects the dedication of the company's team.
The company's marketing leadership also gained individual honors, as first vice president and chief Marketing and Communications officer Emirosco Michael Sena received a Silver Stevie for Marketing Executive of the Year.
Sena cited that the recognition highlights purpose-driven storytelling, emphasizing that marketing at the firm serves to make financial inclusion relevant and meaningful to local communities.
In the organizational categories, Cebuana Lhuillier received a Gold Stevie for Achievement in Financial Services, pointing to its evolution into an integrated financial ecosystem designed for diverse consumer needs.
Specific company projects and outreach campaigns earned additional awards across event, partnership and corporate social responsibility divisions. The post-claims customer support program "Kumustahan" won a Gold Stevie in the customer engagement event category, while the "KaNegosyo Center" initiative earned Gold for best public-private partnership by delivering business coaching and digital resources to small entrepreneurs.
In addition, the brand engagement initiative "Pasasalamat" received a Silver Stevie, while the savings advocacy campaign "Ipon Moves" and the "Happiest Pinoy" corporate social responsibility project each secured Bronze Stevies.
The International Business Awards evaluate organizations worldwide across multiple operational fields, including executive leadership, public relations, customer engagement and community impact.
