  • Robbie Jaworski acting career

Robbie Jaworski is hungry for more acting opportunities — and he is ready to take on roles that will push him further as a performer.

The Star Magic artist expressed his eagerness to explore more challenging projects, particularly action roles, as he shared his career journey, advocacy, and upcoming projects during the Star Magic Spotlight press conference.

"Sa tingin ko, gutom na gutom ako (I am hungry) in terms of acting projects. I just want to experience more," he said. "Ang pangarap ko in terms of acting is gusto ko sumali sa mga action (My dream terms of acting is that I want to join action).”

Having appeared in projects including The Alibi, Meet, Greet, Bye, and Prime Video’s The Loyalty Game, Jaworski said he wants to continue expanding his range as an actor. Action, in particular, remains one of his dream genres, with the actor hoping to train in martial arts and eventually take on physically demanding roles.

For Jaworski, the desire to grow extends beyond the roles he plays. He also sees hosting as another avenue that has challenged him, particularly when working in live events.

"Sa hosting... kapag live 'yan, isang take lang 'yan. Kung nagkamali ka, wala, sa’yo 'yan (In hosting, if it is live, it is one take only).”

Meanwhile, Jaworski currently stars as Juancho Madrigal in The Loyalty Game, a character he describes as the "boy version ng Cinderella."

Despite being part of the second family, Juancho grows up carrying much of the hardship within the household, giving Jaworski an opportunity to explore a character with a complicated background.

As he continues to build his acting portfolio, Jaworski also credits several industry veterans for helping him develop his craft. Among those who have influenced his growth are John Arcilla, Paulo Avelino, Sam Milby, Jojo Saguin, Onat Diaz, Cathy Garcia-Sampana and May Cruz-Alviar.

Beyond his acting ambitions, Jaworski also hopes to use his platform to encourage meaningful conversations among young Filipinos.

Coming from one of the country’s well-known political families, he has been vocal about carving out an identity of his own in entertainment rather than following the family’s political path.

"Gusto ko maging isang halimbawa na hindi mo kailangan pumasok sa pulitika para gumawa ng diperensya sa Pilipinas (I want to be an example that one doesn’t have to enter politics to make a difference in the Philippines),”Jaworski said.

This advocacy is reflected in the youth-oriented program Y Speak 2.0, which tackles politics, culture, the economy, and media literacy while encouraging audiences to think critically about the information they encounter.

"Ang tema ng Y-Speak 2.0 is to listen, discern and act. So, huwag lang tayo basta-basta makinig at maniwala sa mga napapanood at nakikita natin sa social media (The theme of Y-Speak2.0 is to listen, discern and act. So we should not believe everything we here on see on social media)," he added.

Outside his entertainment projects, Jaworski is also gearing up for the upcoming Star Magic All-Star Games. After serving as one of the event’s hosts last year, he is set to return this time as a player.

With more acting projects on his wishlist and action roles among his biggest aspirations, Jaworski is clearly ready to take on bigger — and more challenging — opportunities in the industry.
